Our Model vs Traditional Model

Traditional Model

Below is a traditional approach which most high schools follow. Students are required to be enrolled into 5-6 classes each school year. This approach limits students who need to make up credits and requires them to do so outside of school hours and the academic program. Schools usually only offer extended school day opportunities and online courses for students to make up credits.

CPLC Community Schools’ Model

Below is a our academic program. Through research and experience, we have determined that the traditional model approach does not work for the students who we service. Our program is uniquely designed to allow students to organically earn additional credits through all direct, hands-on instruction. Students are enrolled in up to 10 classes each school year. With academic support from the teachers and free tutoring, students are able to earn more credits at a consistent and comfortable pace.
